Sambo players won 11 medals at Asian Sambo Championship

Athletes from Tajikistan won 11 medals at the Asian Sporting and Combat Sambo Championship held from 13 to 15 September 2019 in New Delhi, India. Medals were played in three age categories: among cadets, juniors, and adults.

Tajikistan sambo team won 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 7 bronzes at the Asian Sporting and Combat Sambo Championship. The gold medals were won by Sherdil Almosov (74 kg.), Saidibroz Ikromov (90 kg), and Mirzojamil Ramazonov (74 kg). The silver medal of Asian Sambo Championship among juniors has been owned by Firuz Muminov in 68 kg. weight category.
It should be noted that the Asian Sporting and Combat Sambo Championship brought together the athletes from 21 countries of Asia.
