Rustami Emomali became President of the Central Asian Football Association

Reportedly Mayor of Dushanbe, President of Tajikistan Football Federation – Rustami Emomali has been elected the President of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) at the Congress of CAFA that occurs every four years at one of the association members’ countries.

It says that Vice President of the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan Dastanbek Konokbayev was elected first vice president of CAFA and General Secretary of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan Arslan Ainazarov - Vice President of CAFA. The CAFA headquarters will be moving from Tashkent to Dushanbe.
CAFA established in June 2014 unites the football federations of six countries: Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
