Dilshod Nazarov elected President of Athletics Association of Central Asia

In the threshold of the Asian Athletics Championship Doha has been held 23rd Asian Athletics Congress in Doha on Saturday (20th April 2019).

Gen. Dahlan Al- Hamad of Qatar was re-elected as the Asian Athletics Association President for the term of 2019-2023 at the 23rd Asian Athletics Congress. Also, there was elected vice-presidents, members of the Executive Board, and the athletes’ commissions in the context of the Asian Athletics Congress.
According to TV “Varzish”, popular hummer thrower, the Gold medalist of Rio-2016, and President of Tajikistan Athletics Federation – Dilshod Nazarov has been elected as a President of Athletics Association in Central Asia. Also, he has been awarded “The Asian Best Hummer Thrower ”.
Following his election as a Chairman of Athletics Association in Central Asia offered his gratitude to all 45 member federations for trusting in his leadership and he vowed to continue his work to take all member federation together to develop and strengthen Central Asian Athletics.
