Home Race Walking and Cycling Marathon in Dushanbe

With a view of celebrating the international holiday of Nowruz on a high level has been conducted home race walking and cycling marathon in Dushanbe.
This sporting event were held by the initiations of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan which supported by the local the authority of Dushanbe, and the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan. This national competition started from Chorbogh area until Nowruzgoh place which participated in hundreds of capital inhabitants, students, officials from the whole walks of life, soldieries, sports administrators and athletes. Firstly, all participants welcomed warmly by the Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan – Mr. Abdullozoda A.R. and senior management of Dushanbe Mayor Office. As they stressed, under the royal patronage of his majesty, the Founder of Peace and Nation Unity, - the Leader of the Nation, President of the country, the President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan – Mr. Emomali Rahmon the sports are progressing within the country over the last a few years. Today, more than 1,6 million people are engaged in sports and the athletes swept to victory over opponents at regional and world championships.
Upon conclusion of the home race walking and cycling marathon the winners, men’s division and women’s division awarded with the certificates of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Dushanbe Mayor Office.
