Tajikistan wins International Athletics Tournament

Young athletes of Tajikistan won 5 medals: – 1 gold and 4 bronzes at the International Tournament of Central Asia in athletics.
The tournament was reportedly held on March 2-3 in Tashkent. Athletes from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan at the age not exceeding 17 years participated in it. There were 128 athletes which competed in 5 teams. According to the report of Tajikistan Athletics Federation, Tajikistan was represented by 19 athletes at this sporting event.
Mirzodavlat Sanginzoda won a gold medal in 100 meters’ race with the result of 11:52 second. Also, he took 3rd place at a distance 200 meters with the result of 23:34 second among the boys.
It should be noted that the other 3 bronze medals have been won by Mohrukhsor Saidqulova at a distance 3000 meters’ race among the girls, Hilola Rustamova for hummer throwing to the distance 29.15 meters, and Sayfiddin Zulfiqorbekov for hummer throwing to the distance 43.10 meters among the boys.
