Dushanbe, 5 February 2019 – Tajikistan’s Taekwondo team harvested one silver medal at the Fujairah Open 2019 World Taekwondo T-G1 Event being currently held in in the United Arab Emirates. The member Taekwondo Team of Tajikistan Munisa Oymatova won the silver medal in the youth category, where she was defeated by Thailand’s athlete – Bunyanichi Ngamjamrat in the final round. Two Indian athletes – Hushi Meshri and Kenji Telang have been ranked 3rd at the Fujairah Open 2019 World Taekwondo T-G1. Another Tajik athlete – Alishon Khojanazarov has been bitten by the athletes of the United Arab Emirates in the first round. It should be noted that 957 players from 36 states have been participating in this event. Tajikistan’s Taekwondo Team in the Fujairah Open 2019 World Taekwondo has been presided by the coach – Shamsullo Qodirov. Also, two international referees from Tajikistan – Davlatsho Mirzoev and Vafonazar Alanazarov were the referees’ member of the event.
