The 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires-2018
The 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games hosted in Buenos Aires with the attending more than 3.998 young athletes from over 200 countries who competed in 32 sports while participating in enlightening and multicultural events. The delegations will reside at the Youth Olympic Village (YOV), a brand-new housing complex in the southern part of the city of Buenos Aires. Here, athletes, Team Officials, Chefs de Mission, and Young Change-Makers lodged and took part in cultural exchanges.
Buenos Aires 2018 was the first Games in the Olympic Movement to have gender equality among athletes.
In the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires-2018, Republic of Tajikistan had been represented by 3 athletes, a Chef De Mission, 3 team officials, a young change-maker and an attendee of the Forum “Olympism in Action” which it held in the margin of the Games.
